Kent was born in 1948. He received his
B. A. in 1970 from DePauw University and
his J. D. in 1973 from the University of
Illinois College of Law. He is married, and
his wife of 33 years, Sheree Rathbun,
serves as his secretary.

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY:
Having practiced law previously in Bureau
County and in Logan County, Kent began
practicing in Macon County and concentrating
in marital and family law, in 1983. Having
been an 18-year member of the firm of
Burger, Fombelle, Zachry & Rathbun, P. C.,
Kent opened his office as a sole practitioner in
2005.
